1. Information Collection

The balancer runs entirely in your browser. Equations you type are processed on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.

• No accounts, no sign-up, no forms
• No personal information is collected
• Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server logs, such as IP address and requested URL, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse

2. Data Usage

We do not build profiles, sell data, or share anything with advertisers. Server logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This site sets no cookies. It stores two values in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and the frame shape you last used in the camera scanner. Neither value leaves your device, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts. Every file the site loads is served from this domain. The only exception is the optional photo scan described below, which is processed by our hosting provider.

5. Scanning Photos

The Scan button is optional. If you use it, only the part of the camera view or chosen photo that you place inside the frame is sent to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, where an AI model reads the equation out of it. The image is used only to answer that one request: it is not stored, not shared and not used for training. The camera preview itself never leaves your device, and nothing is sent until you take the picture.

Scans are limited to 20 per visitor per day. To count them we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and the date, which cannot be turned back into your address and is deleted the next day.
